Ignite is an intensive, one-week training program for aspiring entrepreneurs and corporate innovators to trial and prepare business ideas for the commercial environment. Comprised of a blend of practical teaching sessions, expert clinics (one-to-one coaching), mentor sessions and experienced advice and support from leading entrepreneurs and innovators, it provides the tools, contacts and confidence to transform ideas into a successful business projects or ventures.

Peter was invited by Yupar Myint (program manager of Ignite) to join the mentoring sessions and keynote lectures, and to contribute in form of one-to-one coachings (expert clinics) and joining the final pitching panel.

This is a great program, “Teaching For Entrepreneurship”. Spirit and network are outstanding, and the top-tier keynote speakers are extremely inspiring. I want to thank all contributors who made it possible for me to be there, especially Simone Riedl, Magdalena Hauser, and Walter Ischia of  The International Entrepreneurship Centre Tirol – Hermann Hauser (IECT)!

In August 2015 we will run “Alpbach Summer School on Entrepreneurship”, a similar concept, based on the Cambridge Ignite Program, and we will have the program manager of Ingite, Yupar Minth, as well as the former Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning at the University of Cambridge Judge Business SchoolShai Vyakarnam, here in Alpbach.

The Alpbach Summer school is jointly organized by The International Entrepreneurship Centre Tirol – Hermann Hauser (IECT) in cooperation with the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning at Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge – and the European Forum Alpbach.
