Innovatis AG, Bielefeld, established in 1999 by a team of specialists from the scientific and the IT fields in Bielefeld, Germany developed the first fully automated cell counting system. An Angel Investment secured the first steps towards commercialization of the product, followed by investments of VENTIZZ Capital, Düsseldorf (now: “Vorndran Mannheims”).

Roche Custom Biotech, a business unit of F. Hoffmann La-Roche AG, offers products and solutions for manufacturers in the diagnostics and pharma biotech industry ranging from raw materials to system solutions for bioprocessing.

Peter’s engagement

  • Interim management for seven months (Oct. 2001 to April 2002) after investment of VENTIZZ Capital

  • Redesign and setup of the structural and process organization
